    TERMS:

    Gravity Feed:
    Any of our fuel tanks which are referred to as "gravity feed" in simplified terms means that the auxiliary (or additional) tank is mounted in a higher position than the stock tank which allows the fuel to be gravity fed or flowed into the stock tank. The stock fuel guage in the vehicle will remain constantly full until the auxiliary tank has completely emptied at which time the stock tank will start to register as usual. Gravity Feed Tanks Not Legal For Sale Or Use In California On Any Pollution Controlled Motor Vehicle.

    Van Interior:
    Interior modifications may be necessary for the installation of auxiliary fillnecks on some vans.

    Side Fill:
    All auxiliary fillnecks unless other wise speciafied will be routed through the side of the fender by use of a rubber grommet.

    ASTERISK DEFINITIONS:

    *AMC-1, DPR-1, CLR-2: These tanks are not baffled - would not allow
    adequate clearance for sending unit.

    *CPR-1: If equipped with dual exhaust, custom exhaust modifications is
    required.
    *FPA-5: Mounting brackets are welded on the sides of the tank.
    *DPR-1: Mounting brackets are welded on the sides of the tank.
    *DPR-4: Mounting brackets are welded on the sides of the tank.
    *TLCA-1: All 1970 - 1980 models require custom exhaust modification.

    NOTE:

    In order to comply with regulations set forth by Federal and State
    Agencies, it is the customer's responsibility to specify as to what
    type of filler neck be supplied (leaded or unleaded) when placing
    an order of auxiliary fuel tank for installation or resale.

    SPECIAL ORDER (s.o.):

    These tanks are available on a special order basis and will normally
    require 3 weeks lead time.

CAUTION: DO NOT WELD OR TORCH ON TANKS!
